About Artist’s Point
Artist’s Point, a dead end of Monument Valley Drive, in the incredible landscape that I cannot put into words how much I enjoyed this drive.
The photo was taken mid day in August of 2016. An HDR of 5 exposures.
It’s a dead end but this round trip is 17 miles long and has 11 especially scenic stops, all with their own names and stories. This is where John Wayne famously starred in director John Ford’s western, hence the name of stop number four: John Ford’s Point.
This website has a lot of useful information and maps if you’re planning on taking this 2-3 hour drive.
