Fields of the Nephilim, Carl McCoy, info:

High resolution photo. 24 bit color depth.

As usual, no watermark will be visible on your downloaded version. The semi-transparent logo and lines of text will. They are a part of this magical moment. I took This just as they started playing one of my favourite songs: The Watchman.

Fields of the Nephilim

Fields of the Nephilim in concert at Sticky Fingers in Gothenburg April 2013. A great show as always as this band delivers nothing else. I have been listening to the since 1991. Huge fan. Huge.

This is front man and main man Carl McCoy in a moody shot from the gig. When this shot was taken, they started playing one of my absolute fave songs – The Watchman. It sent shivers down my spine and every time I look at this photo remember that exact moment. The lines of text to the left are the opening lines of that song

Some Info on the band

Fields of the Nephilim are an English gothic rock band formed in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, England in 1984.[1] The original line-up consisted of vocalist Carl McCoy, saxophonist Gary Wisker, Tony Pettitt on bass, guitarist Paul Wright and drummer Alexander “Nod” Wright. After the release of the debut EP Burning the Fields, Wisker left the band and was replaced by Peter Yates as second guitarist to what is widely known as the ‘classic’ line-up. The current incarnation of the band has released one authorized recording of new material and one double live album since 1990, but the group perform frequently, with Carl McCoy and Tony Pettit remaining from the original lineup.

The band’s name refers to a Biblical race of giants or angel-human hybrids, known as the Nephilim. Although they have not received substantial mainstream success, the band’s seminal sound has proved highly influential, especially in the genre of gothic rock
